Chocolate Heart Cookies

Description

In this class, students will learn how to bake from scratch chocolate cut-out cookies. They'll work in a group to make cookie dough, roll it out, and cut it out just right. Once baked and cooled, they'll have fun learning how to decorate their cookies according to the design pictured. Cookies will be taken home in individual heart-shaped containers packaged with one cookie in each. These containers are the perfect size to give to a teacher or friend as a Valentine's present! Students will also get to eat one cookie in class. ;) A craft and storytime will be included in class as time allows. Learning Objectives: -Learn about the creaming process -Learn where cocoa powder comes from -Learn how to make royal icing -Learn about the value of baking and gift-giving Note: -Kids must be able to use the potty independently. -Please send your child to class with a water bottle with their name on it. -Dress code is closed-toe shoes and hair tied back. -Class is at the home of Brittany Dollar in Meadowbrook. Cancellation Policy

We cannot issue refunds or credits for cancellations in the 48 hours before a class. If you cancel before the 48 hours prior to class we can either issue a refund or use your payment as a credit towards another booking in the future.
