Christmas Tree Cookies Class (AM)

Description

Family gatherings are approaching, holiday parties are in full swing, and you still have shopping and wrapping on your to-do list. Let the experienced Itty Bitty Bakers team handle cookie baking with the kids! In this class, they'll learn to make buttery sugar cookies from scratch and use a ruler to measure and cut out three sizes of circular shapes. While cookies bake and cool, they'll make American buttercream frosting and dye it green. Finally, they'll learn about pyramid and conical geometric shapes as they layer their cookies and frosting into the shape of a Christmas tree. Before the go, they'll use a variety of sprinkles to accent their trees and make them their own. Note: -Class is at the home of Jeni Warram in Riverchase.
