Why a Bake Sale? At Itty Bitty Bakers, we frequently receive requests for financial donations, making it challenging to choose whom to support. In recent years, we've opted to concentrate our donations on a single cause annually through a community fundraiser. Our bake sale not only generates funds for a meaningful cause but also teaches kids the value of serving others. The bake sale encourages kids to look beyond themselves and help those in need.

Why this charity? This charity (Feeding America/Community Food Bank of Central AL) focuses on ending child hunger and food insecurity in families.

Our Itty Bitty Bakers kids get to bake and eat treats regularly. So, it’s hard to fathom that there are kids out there who literally have to skip meals because there are not consistent groceries in their homes. As Americans, we think that food insecurity happens in far away places, but it happens right here in Birmingham. So, we like the idea of helping with food banks, summer lunch programs, etc so that truly no kid goes hungry.

If you're interested in donating to this cause through Itty Bitty Bakers here is the giving link.

$1 = 4 meals So, that’s 1,388 meals to kids and families in need across central Alabama!
