Site Requirements
We need adequate meeting space for our recipe demonstration and student preparation. Typically, a large center table, a side table, and seating for kids are essential. No oven or stove is required on site. Depending on the chosen recipe and weather, outdoor learning near a garden may also be option. Click "Request to Book" to planning!
Schools
We have done field trips for all grade levels! Typical sessions are 30 minutes per class of 12-15 students. A teacher or teacher's aide must stay with each class for the duration of their session. Head count needed 2 weeks prior to field trip.
Libraries
Special events like summer reading programs and library STEAM classes are great for including an in-house field trip. A librarian or parent must stay with students for the session. Sign-up sheets required for accurate head count.
Churches
Whether it's a VBS, summer day camp, youth group, or Mom's Day Out programs, we can bring the fun and tasty learning to your group. Sign-up sheets required for accurate head count.
Girl Scouts
Let us help your troop get their Cooking or Snack Badge! We can lead kids in making two out of the five steps provided in the badge curriculum. Past recipes we've made with Girl Scouts include granola bars and guacamole! Combine troops to meet our minimum of 30 requirement!
Clubs
If you've got at least 30 people in your club, we can come to you! This includes Garden Clubs, Rotary Clubs, neighborhood clubhouses, civic organizations, and foundations. Field trips to clubs include students of ALL AGES! We do not require that students be kids only.
Customer Feedback

Our kids had the best time making Beach Day Pudding Cups! We are so thankful to be able to offer this opportunity to our club members. It is one of the events they look forward to all summer long!
— Dana Poe, Director, Pell City Boys & Girls Club

The kids loved making the Pumpkin Fluff Dip, and I loved how they brought science into the experience. We will be doing this every fall!
