Where is this?

All of our classes are held in teachers' homes. That way we keep overhead costs low and offer students a more safe, realistic, and comfortable setting for baking. For security purposes, teacher home addresses are not posted publicly, but are sent out after the class is booked. You should receive the teacher's home address via email immediately after booking. Do I stay?

All classes are drop-off and pick-up. We just ask that you:

-drop off your child with a water bottle with their name on it

-dress your child in closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back off the shoulders for kitchen safety and cleanliness

-only send your child to class if they are able to use the potty independently, as we are not allowed to assist children in the bathroom

What will my child be doing?

Class sizes are typically 6-10 kids. During class, the teacher will guide the students in preparing the recipe of the day. Students will either be with a partner or in a group for doing recipe tasks.

Once food goes in the oven, your child will be engaged with one or more of the following age-appropriate activities:

-making another recipe

-doing a craft

-hearing a storybook read aloud

-playing a game

-doing a science experiment

Students will taste a portion of their baked good in class and take home some to share as well.

Do I need to buy an apron?

Aprons will be provided for your child to wear during class. However, you can purchase an apron ahead of time and have your child's name put on it. Shipping is free, but expect ~2 weeks processing time before you to receive your apron in the mail.
