Let's Bake! 🧑‍🍳

Each class and camp is led by a wonderful team of teachers and youth helpers. They patiently and professionally teach each student how to prepare the recipe of the day. Depending on what that is, students may work on tasks individually, with a partner, or as a group.

After the recipe is placed in the oven, downtime begins. Downtime activities include things like making a drink or garnish to go with the recipe, doing a craft, listening to a storybook read aloud, playing a game, or conducting a food science experiment.

Once the recipe has baked and cooled, then comes the best part - tasting! Each student will get to sample a portion of their baked goods in class and also take some home to share with family.

Locations📍

Our classes and camps take place in each teacher's own home kitchen. Sessions are small, with a max of 10 students each time. We are passionate about creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for each child. To ensure security, we do not publicly share the home addresses of our teachers; these are emailed once a class or camp is booked.

Drop Off 🚗

All classes and camps are drop-off and pick-up. Please bring with you a water bottle with your name on it. We also kindly request that you dress in closed-toe shoes and tie long hair back off the shoulders for safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. Since we are not allowed to assist children in the bathroom, we also ask that all kids be fully potty-trained before attending.

Aprons 🧑‍🍳

Teachers will have a stash of aprons on hand for kids, but we also have personalized aprons for sale! You can purchase your own apron before class or camp, but please allow at least two weeks for delivery. Click here for the apron order form.

Photos 📸

Parents love to see photos of their kids baking, so we try to take as many pics as possible during the class or camp. However, this can be a challenge since making and learning the recipe of the day is the top priority! If a teacher is able to take photos, they will be posted on our password-protected photo album page. If you don't want your photo taken, you are free to note that on your booking registration form.

Calendar 🗓️

We offer monthly classes and summer camps. Some teachers only offer one class per month but some offer more based on their availability. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be notified when a teacher has posted a new class. Summer camps are posted on February 28th of each year.
